Horrible, dishonest dental office. Changes appointments after scheduling. Changes pricing after estimates. After scheduling my semi-annual cleaning with the office, they tried to bill my insurance for unnecessary items upon arrival to the appointment. They then tried to advise me that i had a bill from a cleaning done over 6 months ago. After the receptionist ensured it had been sent to my e-mail back in June, she confirmed they had the wrong name & e-mail for me on file. None of this was mentioned when I called to schedule my cleaning. I walked out & will be finding a different local dentist. There are plenty of options in the area, this one was just the closest. Unfortunately, definitely not the best, nor even near the best. I saw some bad reviews before I went & ignored them. Don’t be like me & save yourself the trouble.

Very traumatic experiences at this office following two procedures given lidocaine. One of those I ended up hospitalized. Had a tooth removed and implant in the same day and initially given no pain meds; was told to take Advil or Tylenol. Had pain following a filling and was told to see an oral surgeon because it was probably my wisdom teeth when I knew the pain was not radiating from that point. Went to a different dentist for a second opinion and was told the filling was not aligned correctly and food is packing. I’m now pregnant and cannot get any work done so I am stuck dealing with discomfort as it comes until after birth and breastfeeding. I did not feel heard by this doctor. All the work he did I feel sensitivity. Sensitivity I did not have prior to him doing work. Lastly, the front desk failed to submit all my X-rays to the insurance company for a $2800 procedure. I received an $80 reimbursement because of this. She was supposed to resubmit but I have not heard since from my insurance so not sure it was done.

Dr. Caligiuri is an EXCELLENT dentist! My husband and I have been seeing him for a few years now and our teeth are beautiful and white. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. He takes his time with his patients. His office staff is wonderful and personable also. The location is very convenient. I would recommend Dr. Caligiuri to everyone.

A year ago I became a new patient due to the proximity to my work and not yet having a dentist in LA, despite a few people who told me that they're heard of others having a bad experience here. I initially visited as my crown that I had for 10 years broke and needed replacement. While the doctor was professional and kind, I immediately had hot/cold sensitivity to the tooth that the crown was put on, which was odd since I had a root canal on that tooth 10+ years ago. I went in and it was adjusted and told the cause could be the current placement, but it continued to be uncomfortable and feel very foreign. Food was constantly getting stuck in it, it made my bite uncomfortable, and eventually my jaw on this side of my mouth began popping when eating which I never experienced before. Due to these issues and the additional problems listed below, I went to another dentist as I no longer trusted this dentist. I was told that I may be experiencing pain due to the heavy modifications made to the crown that were obvious, and that it's placement being too high. The crown became uncemented and popped off after not even being on a year. In addition, the doctor filled some cavities and I began to experience pain in every area he worked on. When I told him about pain that I was experience in my upper left side, he said that nothing was found there. The next dentist I went to quickly identified a large cavity, which now requires a root canal/crown. Had this been addressed sooner, I believe this may not have been the case. Overall, I have had the worst mouth pain of my life this past year. I wasted money and time which I am now having to pay more money to fix. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I have never had such a negative experience that has impacted my physical comfort and wellbeing more and felt this needed to be shared.

This is a good place. The hygienisists are top-notch, the office is well-run by nice, bright people, and the dentist is ethical, pleasant, and professional. Appointments are on time.
